Part 1: If you like tea, visit the Araksa Tea Garden. We stopped here on our way from Chiang Mai to Pai. On the Tea Garden Tour, we were able to pick green tea leaves and learn how they were made into tea. At the end of the tour, we got to try hot and cold green tea with a snack. #travel #thailand #tea #teatıme #araksatea #araksateagarden #chiangmai #pai #teagardentour #picktealeaves #tealeaves #greentealeaves #greentea #hottea #coldtea #snack #truetravelnista What to do in Chiang Mai? I highly recommend taking a cooking class while in Chiang Mai. My friend and I headed to a local market to get our food as part of the course. A plus for our class was that we got picked up at our Airbnb, where we selected what dishes we'd make from a list of options. My friend and I picked the following 6 dishes to cook: Chicken Massaman Curry, Stir-fried Sweet & Sour Mixed Vegetables, Noodles with Black Bean Sauce, Cucumber Soup, Papaya Salad, and Steamed Banana Cake. We cooked all our meals at our instructor's home. The course my friend and I took had different options. There were morning, afternoon, and evening courses in addition to an all-day class. Vannee Classic Home Cooking was the course we took. My friend and I were given a certificate at the end of class and a cookbook with 72 various Thai dishes. After cooking, we also had lots of leftovers. #cookingclass #localmarket #thaidishes #chickenmassaman #chickenmassamancurry #stirfriedsweetandsourvegetables #noodleswithblackbeansauce #cucumbersoup #papayasalad #steamedbananacake #options #vanneeclassichomecooking #classichomecoking #certificate #cookbook #leftovers #travel #thailand #chiangmai #truetravelnista One of the best Airbnb's to stay at is the Sala Old Town Singharat Road in Chiang Mai, Thailand. It's a traditional Thai house located in Old Town. This Airbnb is a true paradise. When we arrived, there were coconut drinks waiting for us. Mosquito nets were set up for us during our stay. Booking during off-season can save a significant amount of money. There is also a microwave and fridge in the kitchen. A washer is available in addition to some laundromats nearby. It's a good spot to dip your feet, use the bathroom, and buy some snacks. #wiangpapao #wiangpapaohotspring #hotspring #chiangrai #chiangmai #roadtrip #bathroom #snacks #travel #thailand #pitstop #drive #truetravelnista If you are driving through Chiang Rai, check out Doi Chaang Coffee in Doi Chang. The views and coffee are phenomenal. It feels like you are drinking coffee in the clouds.
